For us, an outdoor lifestyle means a life spent outdoors as much as possible. It means health, wellness, peace and even adventure.
In the UK, our weather isn't conducive to living an outdoor lifestyle - but at U-Wood Bespoke Designs we have a number of ways to help you work around the rainy weather when you want to spend more time outside - or to make the most of it for the more green-fingered among us!
1 - Gardening
At U-Wood Bespoke Designs we have created all sorts of wooden products for the garden, but one that has been increasingly popular in the past couple of years has been the simple wooden garden shed.
Sheds are an essential product for your garden for all sorts of reasons - for garden storage of gardening tools, washing lines, outdoor toys and all the bits and bobs you can't fit in your house! Plus it makes a great crafting space or 'man cave' for people who need space, as well as the peace & quiet when working on projects. For those green fingered people out there, U-Wood Bespoke Designs can also create a beautiful multi-use raised bed area for your veg and herbs!
We also make wooden garden storage boxes - perfect for storage of children's play equipment, gardening tools etc. And great if your garden is too small for a shed.
2 - Outdoor Parties
With all of us being stuck at home during the pandemic, we were all craving not only outdoor space but also socialising. Well, another popular choice for our customers in the last year has been to build an outdoor bar and BBQ area in their gardens.
Having a bar in your garden is a great way to socialise with friends whilst enjoying the outdoors - bringing the pub garden to your own garden! And you can make it as low-key or as flash as you like - you could even hook up a TV to watch the game outside with a beer! Or just relax in your hot-tub (if you're lucky enough to own one) whilst reaching over to your custom-made outdoor bar to grab a G&T - or getting the nominated family member to serve you!
3 - Picnic in the park
If you don't have a garden & have your picnics in the park, or if you're heading to a festival, then we have the ultimate outdoor accessory for you. Our wooden beer picnic stand & wooden wine picnic stand are an easy way to serve & store drinks whilst out & about. Both have mobile phone holder slots & you can even personalise your wine stand and glass holder, making it great to buy as a quirky yet original personalised gift for an outdoorsy person!
4 - Family get togethers
Pergolas are a fantastic way to celebrate outdoors with family. Perfect for both Summer parties and Winter get togethers; you get the best of both worlds with 3 sides open to enjoy the elements in Spring and Summer, and a roof to keep you dry in Winter - or in case of a sudden Summer storm! Or if preferred - they're a great place to set up a 'play station' for the kids, so you can keep an eye on them whilst giving the adults some breathing space at the same time!
